Have actually just put the heating on in JUNE!!!its not stopped raining since about half ten last night.Two grandaughters watching the Queens journey down the Thames.I went with Tasha to a party last night with creams from a French firm can't remember the name,they make creams and lotions with an ingredient used in botox and we had a free wrap with Tasha losing three and a half inches round her stomach,I lost two inches and the others lost between an inch and two not bad for a freebie.

How quick the weather changes!!!

My last post was about sunburn yesterday we had rain all day today its cold and cloudy back to a coat.Thank you for all comments left on my blog they are much appreciated.The card today was a quickie been in town today then remembered its my hubbies brother and sister-in-laws anniversary on Wednesday and because of the bank holidays there will be no post till Wednesdayso had to make a very quick one to be given tomorrow!!!

our new seating area (ready for the sun)the pergola Tasha's Dad built for us on the patch of ground which a couple of months ago was a broken down greenhouse.We have planted a climbing rose--Golden showers--on one corner and a wisteria to grow over the top should look lovely when all grown over.You can also see my beatiful red acer which my O/H bought me quite a few years ago and always gives a lovely display looks beautiful when the sun is shining on it, well I won't bore you any longer off to blog hop come back soon (only if you want to mind ) carol xx

still trying to beat the deadlines must get more organised!!!First of all welcome to my new followers Karen and Tracy. Bit of a flap here at the moment,daughter came in from work last night(works in a care home and cycles)and said she will have to change her route home (as sometimes late)as she is being followed by a man in a car and when she went to DR the other day he walked in staring at her and was sat in his car watching her walk down the road and she said it felt a bit weird but luckily she is now on a weeks holiday,but I have told her to take his registration if she sees him again and if more than once just report him to the police saying she feels threatened by him very worrying really and it must have unnerved her because she asked me to go to the shops with her and she is not a young girl she is 39 just come home after her relationship ended but that avenue has been ruled out as she is still friends with her ex.Rant over and onto card.

Well Holly-Ann is just about back to her normal 13year old attitude (well that's the age she thinks she is and acts accordingly!!)she ended up at emergency Dr in the evening as we couldn't get her temperature down but no surprise there a virus we could have really saved ourselves a journey but she is better and that's all that matters.I am going to the New Theatre on Tuesday night to see Sally Morgan (the psychic)not seen her before but have sen Derek acorah and he was brilliant would go and see him again.still onto the card----

well no green today lol.Just been to a craft show at the KC this morning and got a few bits and pieces,as I went to pay for a stamp at one stall a flutter of glitter(having just bought some) as I opened my purse --it gets everywhere at least they understand at a raft event.Then came home just in time for (a somewhat late but not complaining)roast chicken Sunday dinner great timing.

When this card started out it was going to be pinks and red but this green has got a hold aahhhhhhhhhhh!!!This is definitely the last green one for a while will be scrutinising those challenges before I join in.We have also had a couple of new house residents this week(as if we hadn't got enough.The first one is Diamond my grandaughters new hamster in her all pink cage so hope she is female,the next is two American green frogs which my son has just boughtonly got them yesterday so not been able to get a pic yet been hiding away to settle in.On to todays card---

Still persisting it down here !!!!!but what a good excuse to craft (as if we need one).I made three cards last night one for challenges,one for a sick little boy and one that started out as a birthday card for another little boy and I got slightly sidetracked and made a completely different one altogether think it's called displacement concentration lol This first one was originally for a five year old boy with a boy and cycle image WELL I got as far as sticking down the backing paper which I thought was apt looking like wheels then I found this image on my desk and that was that as they say ,cycle card yet to be made .The other card is for a sick little 9yr old boy in hospital having chemotherapy ---hope it makes him smile at least not sure which order they will appear so fingers crossed.
