Strawberries anyone?

I have used a cute pre-coloured topper from Mo's Digital penciland used a lace frame,papers from Lawn Fawn,ribbon from Dovecraft,tonic punch or border,three different die-cuts and used the border and the cut off waste to make the top border to hold the card and fuscia pink dewdrops.Is this cute enough for you Tina???lol

From all white to blue and white

My last card was all white now on to all blue for a boy.I couldn't wait to try out my new baby dies(pram and safety pins) and used my new papers from the Forever friends pad-New Arrivals.Just been to The Range this after-noon and bought a jar of buttons all pastel baby colours so used some of those and used my liquid pearls again(must get some more different colours-love them)and of course I made an upright Z-shaped card which i love and looks great CAS or with embellishment and just looks a little better than a square card,and ribbon from hobbycraft.OMG another card with no digi!

All white-all right?

Hi everyone glad you could stop by,not made a card for a couple of days so found one I made last week and not blogged yet-so here it is not a digi image in sight just die-cuts and completely out of my comfort zone know where I am with a digi to colour lol still not completely comfortable with die-cuts,all right small ones as embellishments but a whole card ???A first for me,I used some of the spiders webbing for the background and all cardstock is from Papermill Direct,ribbon-part of my prize from crafty Ribbons,a few die-cuts and added liquid pearls.

Okay I give in- Christmas in July it is !

Holly -Ann missed her last week at nursery because of the mumps-but with some new cream they dried up really quickly,and her nursery teacher told Tasha to bring her for a couple of hours on the last day to meet her new teacher and children as she goes into chool reception after summer.Well after waiting for 10mins at lunchtime Tasha asked the reception where she was ---only to be told she was staying hot dinners in the hall with the rest of the class,she only told the teacher her Mum had forgotten her packed lunch so the teacher paid for her to have a hot dinner,as her Mum walked past the hall she looked up and waved -then carried on eating!!!so ended up staying all day.
Last week I resisted all the Christmas in July challenges but this week almost every challenge is this --soooo I gave in and made one(and another male card) hopefully a CAS one so feel free to comment-good or bad.
I have used "In the Cold"my favourite winter image from Robyns Fetishcoloured with promarkers,soft snow,and glamour dust on papers -loose in stash and finally chalked some clouds-finished.

Camping in the dog house !

Monday morning again and hope you all had a glorious weekend too.Holly-Ann woke up this morning with chicken pox,only had three and two hours later had loads didn't realise they came up so quick.Holly is gutted as the last week at nursery was going to be spent in reception.OMG I also can't believe its almost a week since I last blogged -slapped wrist and I have a few cards in draft too.The new challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and our sponsor is Eureka Stamps and I chose their image "Cat with Shades" because I thought of summer,THEN I realised the challenge was "Camping" and thought how on earth I could make a camping card -then a brainwave whilst looking through some craft mags for inspiration,I saw a card made with a kennel template sooo thought the cat could camp in the dog kennel simples I hope!I coloured the image with promarkers and glossy accents on sunglasses,used a tonic punch for the roof trim,dog letters from Tim Holtz papers,added ribbon and liquid pearls,paper craft mag freebie.

Tuesday and a new challenge.

Morning everyone,the new challenge this morning at TWISTED TUESDAYis "I want to see your folder"embossing folder that is -the challenge is use something beginning with "I"ink being the obvious,BUT I decided in my wisdom to go with iris folding and ink,now my bin is half full of folded strips of paper and I remembered why---I DO NOT DO IRIS FOLDING---LOL after I finished I realised I could not put embossing anywhere so took half the strips of and used black strips of embossed paper and inked a flourish for the balloon strings---THEN I decides the embossing wasn't really noticeable so decided to make another and as I was already late to post to challenge blog due to a late hospital appointment with O/H (for blood tests/ecg and he has to have a muscle biopsy)I was pushed for time(putting it mildly!!!)so I used the embossing paper as a background then an adorning square die in the centre with a flower made from old book pages and inked the edges with a rolled rose inside and done.

A Cuddle at last

Well I finally got to cuddle my new grandson Jozef after waiying nearly a week until Ellie was over the chicken pox,what timing.Well what can I tell you he is gorgeous!!!and in all the excitement I forgot to take the camera as I can't upload pics from my phone-well I can but once on the laptop they just vanish lol.Will try and upload one from facebook taken when he was a day old with his Mum Diane(DIL)still in hospital.Mind you the good mood didn't last as when we got home washer(only 9mths old)emptied all over kitchen floor and now does not work!!!

Christmas CD

Tuesday morning means a new challenge at LEJ DESIGNS and that challenge is Recycle/upcycle or use household items-easy eh?Well it is if you read the right challenge lol I had Christmas in July and made two Christmas cards went to upload them and found I had done the wrong challenge SSOOOO did what anyone would do and PANICKED what to use??????????????Found a pile of old CD's I had been keeping to make as hangings but never got round too.Already had the Christmas images to hand so went with that.Covered the CD and an old clothes chipboard tag with papers from last Christmas and used distress inks round the edges,and used Lindsays Jingle bells image coloured with promarkers and cut out,sparkly Angel was from last year from Hobbycraft,added the ribbon and done so hope it's fits challenge okay.Our sponsor this week is LEJ DESIGNS and UKCARDCRAFTS.

These Mondays sure come round fast and it's the 1st of July!!!Blogger has also singled me out again!and decided I can no longer resize my pics BUT when you click on the pic it is fine and uploads to facebook fine???Beginning to feel paranoid lol.The new challenge at TAMMY'S SCRAPIN CORNER is Summer Fun and our sponsors are QKR STAMPEDE and DELICIOUS DOODLES and I have used an image from Delicious Doodles-"Sunset at Sea" coloured with promarkers,used blue and brown twine wrapped round card,liquid pearls in corners,and small travel and postcards stamped images from Travel set.
