Morning and this is my 2nd of 2 posts today-we have a new ATG challenge at A Inky Mess-we are also sponsored by Gecko Galz.I had a request for an 18th Birthday card for someones Nephew who is blind-I also made their 16th card two years ago--so plenty of texture was needed.
I stamped and heat embossed a music score from Kanban on the background card-then overlaid with a B.paper from I think 7 Gypsies-the corner was die-cut with a DT die-the small drum kit craft mag freebie stamp was also silver heat embossed as was the large drum kit image which was a Sheena Douglass stamp-all edges were aslo silver heat embossed and the sentiment is the name and 18 written in Braille with Cosmic Shimmer liquid pearls.

Carol, you can use any stamp in the platform..it shows you how to flip the glass door for rubber stamps and the other for clear stamps..so easy and not too many mistakes..I love it.

ReplyDeleteLovely take on our challenge at craft this week and good luck
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! It looks like it has loads of texture and you certainly rose to the challenge to make this unique card. What a special feeling this young man will have to get this so very personalized card for him. I never even thought about the fact of making a Braille card, but those pearls are just perfect for a 'sentiment'. I love the different pattern combinations with the drums, and this is a WOW card Carol. Very unique. TFS & Hugs
