Congratulations and Hearts

Morning and we have a new Just For Fun challenge at Crafting With Friends.I made a congratulations card using stitched square dies and Heart dies both from The Works,congratulations die is a Tattered Lace one -the back heart is edged with distress ink and the front heart was cut from packaging-done!Sorry this is a little late was laid out ill all yesterday at least I am up today will catch up with you all over the weekend.

Now card is posted not sure about the black!!!

Journal Page

Morning and we have new Just For Fun challenge at A Inky Mess and I made a journal page not made one for a while-I started with torn scraps of papers/the mannikin was from a Craftwork paper pad from a couple of years ago.Roses were cut from wrapping paper and a strip of dry wall tape-my fave texture stamp round the edges and Cosmic shimmer gilding polish in blossom round some edges and stamped setiment from a Chocolate Baroque set-finished with some red Izink splashed on and charcoal pencil round a couple of edges.

Time is the Currency Of Life

Morning and I am back with my GDT card for Krafty Chicks which is a sketch challenge.
Pretty much CAS -the wood effect paper(in reality pretty much cardstock)from The Works,stitched circle die from Creative Dies,border die/stamped clock and stamped sentiment were all craft mag freebies-edges were distress inked and done I did originally stamp a butterfly but when looking for a sentiment found this one I liked so changed to a pocket watch and added glossy accents to the watch face.-Hope you can find the time to join in and maybe check out the DT cards and blogs.

Indulge Yourself!

Morning and we have a new ATG with a Hand coloured image at Colour Crazy and we are sponsored by Oddball Art.
I used "Lazy Louise N Bath Time Bubble Friends"-coloured with pormarkers and added glossy accents.
B.papers from The Works/Spellbinders frame-stamped brush/mirror/sentiment and pic in the frame were all craft mag freebies.I stamped the mirror and brush on white card and cut them out.

Fairies at Krafty Chicks

Morning and today this is my third GDT card of the month for Krafty Chicks and the challenge is Fairies so quite an easy one and hope you will join us.
I used one of the first stamps I ever bought many years ago and think this is onlt the second time it has been used!!!It's a wooden one from Christina Hayworth-"Faerie Poppets" coloured with promarkers and added glamour dust-image edged with distress ink and stamped sentiment a craft mag frebie.

Waterfall and Butterflies

Welcome to my new follower EPIE.

Feminine and Butterflies

Morning and welcome to my new follower Caty.
We have a new Colour Palette challenge at Unicorn to use at least 3 of the colours.

I was looking for a flower stamp and came across this up to now unused stamp from Carabelle which I HAD to have early last year!!!
The image was coloured with promarkers and I used another unused texture stamp round the edge but not wholly impressed so reverted to tried and trusted one round the outside of background which was made with oxide inks on craft mat and sprayed then smooshed card.

Naming Day

Morning and we have a new ATG/Embellish at Artistic Inspirations and we are sponsored by Colour of Love I had a request for a non-religious naming day card -NOW- I have made baby cards/Christening cards galore with no problem-but this one caused me such a headache???
Whether it was the fact it wasn't a Christening card I have no idea but this card was my actual 4th attempt after two weeks of deliberating what to do--finally I resorted to Google and Pinterest and bingo-just make a baby card and add the appropriate sentiment-now how simple is that??? Well obviously not!!!


I decided on the image Georgie Giraffe distress inked round the edges-that was too dark-print out again and rethink the layout-added ribbon and was just about to add the bow when I realised the sheer ribbon---which was stuck down at this point changed colour when I moved from the desk to near the window and nowhere near matched,found some more hidden at bottom of ribbon boxand as the ribbon went round card I had to glue some on narrow card and stick on the top.


Image was coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents,I embossed the background with a Tattered Lace EF,dies from Marianne and spellbinders/balloon die was a gift so no idea of make(Thank you Lisa)ribbon and button from stash and sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

Bird Shaker

Morning and I have two DT post today the 2nd one is for the new ATG/Shaker card challenge at 613 Avenue Create twist suggested by Natalie.
I started making a cute little circular card with the Bird image from IndigoBlu cut with a circular die and a blue sky behind---
THEN I had the bright idea of adding some fibres for a nest and whilst looking for that found one of the new stamps I won,unused as yet so stamped that as a background added some Aztec paint/the fibres then added the shaker part but the smallest seeds I had were the grains picked out of the hamster food---SO---this is the end result of a cutie circle card lol ended up glueing it all to a CD and will put a hole though and make a hanger but was pleased with the result.

Amatheia Mermaid

Morning and I have two posts today the second one is an inspiration post for Digi Doodles using Amatheia Mermaid coloured with promarkers and added glamour dust.
I used a couple of layers with just white cardstock then embossed one with a Tattered Lace embossing folder.
DST round the edges and pressed on glamour dust the coloured card is recycled packaging and the square stitched dies are from The Works.
The grass stamp was a craft mag freebie and I added a few tiny gems as bubbles and oxide round image.

Paper Piecing and Boiled Paper

Morning and I have three DT posts today the 2nd one for the new ATG challenge at Love To Scrap and we are sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays and I was sent the Mon Ami stamp set which contains 10 individual stamps.
I decided to paper piece the stamps using scraps on my desk which got ripped up and almost thrown away last week but changed my mind and it involved masking too ooh get me lol.My favourite texture stamp round the edges and the little Bee from Chocolate Baroque.
I stamped everything onto one of the boiled pages I made here distressed the edges and backed onto black card.
