Morning and I have two DT posts today-the second one is for the ATG/Use Washi Tape challenge at
613 Avenue Create. This time around I went ATG as I don't have any washi tape.
Whilst searchingthrough my box for a card blank I found a couple of shadow box flat blanks bought from a craft show years ago after seeing the brilliant samples but got put away and forgotten about as couldn't figure out how to use them at the time.
So thought right time to figure out and went together pretty easily lol,the B.paper, sentiment label and dress forms were from Craftwork Cards a couple of years ago, there were three large dress forms so glued them all together for strength.Tape measure was cut from Graphic 45 paper, three buttons/lace and safety pins were from stash, the flower was made with a Joy die and the little metal scissors were bought from The Works about 3 years ago.Pretty pleased with the result and more neglected stash used too.

WOWZER! What an incredible box design you've made with the sewing theme my friend! I love the Vintage look to the images and the pretty details you've added!! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI know, I know. Two wow's in one day shows a certain lack of imagination. I am sorry but wow! Another stunning project. I just love everything about it
ReplyDeleteI have not seen a shadow box card in years and it brings back fond memories of a workshop I attended at which we made one from scratch - a kit would have made the whole process so much quicker, lol.

ReplyDeleteHi Carol. I saw this beauty in 613 Avenue Create and I searched your blog to find it and admire it again. It is really gorgeous. Great depth and design. I do not know if there are any shadow boxes in Greece, but I think I will use the back of a painting canvas to make such a creation. Thank you so much for the inspiration and for sharing the steps, my dear friend. Kisses!
