Smash your Stash Journal Page

Last Saturday of the month and time for the Smash Your Stash journal page challenge with Vicki from--- Stamped Smiles. Hope you will check out her blog-she makes brilliant journal pages and cards.

Due to computer breaking down then losing John I am two months behind so playing catch up with the Water theme. I found a premade background in my journal and just added some more blue distress ink and stamped bubbles, added a strip of wall lining-no idea why but found it in the drawer so on it went! I stamped all the images on p, paper from CraftOclock then cut them out with a tag die bought from a decluttering page on FB, the stamp set is from the decluttering page too, the voice of the sea sentiment was sent to me in a card swap. The centre sentiment tag was put onto 3-D foam pads.

I had to include the lighthouse-love them reminds me of the one at Spurn Point where I spent many happy school holidays. My Uncle was a Lifeboat crew man and it was very remote with chickens running round-my Aunt/Uncle and two cousins lived at cottage no 5-its all abandoned now due to getting wash overs with the tides and can get cut off sadly.

Gift Box Card

Morning, I found the instructions for a box card I made a couple of years ago and decided to decorate using some papers I wasn't too keen on lol. The papers are from Craft&You and Paper Favourites. The stamped leaves are by Stamping Art from Ciobella, stamped and coloured with pencils and cut out -I stamped on the textured side of the cardstock(by mistake-making a few lately lately!!!) and got a mottled effect which I quite liked. The little insect images were cut from a bite and sting cream box I was throwing away. The thin strip in the corner was cut off the paper and while I was sat having a coffee I was playing with it -then thought oooh that will fit nicely in the corner lol, a couple more offcut strips added inside too-got so carried away made a masculine one with some papers I have a few of too.

Autumn Colours and Shrooms

Morning and time for the mid month inspiration for the ATG/Autumn colours challenge at .

Stamping Sensations

Now I have a confession to make-I completely lost track of the days and was in bed all day Wednesday as unwell-so this was a quick card  and included another almost bodge up!!!

Call myself a crafter???  I have loads of cards in draft as back ups but none with stamping!!!

Anyway onto my card I glued a strip of p, paper from CraftOClock down the left hand side, then tried to be clever and stamp an image from AALL&Create across the paper and cardstock, but it left a gap between the paper and card so I had to stamp another piece of card and match up, then decided just to colour the side piece, the border scribble stamp is from  Creative Expressions.

Favourite Diamond Point Card

Morning, I found this card already cut with my favourite Diamond Point shape and with the P, paper in among my already made cards and with the already cut large die-cut frame but had to cut a piece out of because it got ripped, but worked perfectly with the shape-bonus! I just had to die cut the daisies and little Bee then glue everything together.
D, paper from ScrapAndMe, dies from Spellbinders, Hero Arts and  Stampin Up.

Spot the Mistake

Morning and we have a  new ATG/Autumn Colours challenge at Stamping Sensations  with a prize from  Stamp Addicts.

I went with Autumn colours and made a gatefold card using Blazing Poppies stamp from IndigoBlu coloured with Ecoline and promarkers. Ripped the edges and edged with distress ink-I made a similar piece for the insert to write on. Patterned papers from CraftOclock.

I glued the image on upside down -so opening wrong way-which would have fine but made the script papers inside upside down-so before I send will stamp another little butterfly to cover the upside down one lol.
