Smash Your Stash Journal Page

Morning  Evening -I am so sorry Vicki, life has not finished with me yet and this month has just run away with me and couldn't believe it was the last Saturday in the month so time for the Smash your Stash Journal challenge with Vicki from Stamped Smiles who makes brilliant journal pages so please check her blog. The prompt this month was recycle/upcycle and my page this month is totally recycled.

The background was already made, the leaves in the corner was from packaging, the strip at the top was recycled from a kitchen roll inner- all the rest was a complete recycled-even the wax seal-from a card I received in a card swap and kept it because I loved it- now have it for ever to look at instead of in a box.

PLEASE NOTE IF ANY CHALLENGES HAVE DIGIS FOR PRIZES-I AM JUST PLAYING FOR FUN AND SUPPORT AS I HAVE NO PRINTER

Challenges-----

Alphabet-A for alphabet-S-for Spring/seal
inkspirational-seasonal-Spring
creative artiste-ATG-------------WINNER
craft rocket-layer it up
daisy chain-not square
Ellibelles garden party-Anything in the garden------TOP PICK

Thank you for dropping by and any comments are much appreciated.

  1. Yay Carol! I'm so happy you were able to squeeze in your Art Journal! I love it with the monochromatic greens in there with the beautifully collage art you've done using your recycled pieces too! Those wax seals are so fun and I forget that they're perfect for the journals! The background turned out to be a great backdrop for your design too! Nicely done my friend!

  28. I absolutely love your art journal page. Being a plant lover, of course, what is not to love about your motif? And those scraps of writing that found a way into your createive bouquet really add a nice vintage touch to your creation. I also like the handmade watercolour background and the little bird that is perfect for spring. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

    Hugs, Veronika
