Happy Flowers Day

Morning and mojo  actually visited with inspiration to make a card-well I say inspiration but it practically came together itself, but I did colour the image lol.

The flower stamp is from Chocolate Baroque, coloured with promarkers, the stamped sentiment is from AALL&Create, the die-cut frame is Spellbinders. The pink card behind the frame was a long strip I found in paper drawer and cut it to cover both sides(tip from Chrissy there) The background paper was another oddment I found in drawer from Crafters Companion that just fitted the card, but I did have to cute some black cardstock to layer-see I did actually do some work for it lol oops nearly forgot-ribbon from stash and stencil from Artisan Designs.

Please note if any challenges have digi images for prizes I am just playing for fun and support as I don't have a printer

  6. Hi Carol, so sorry to have been missing for so long, but I am back now. This one is a beauty, so pretty. I have that stamp too. Perhaps I should get it out and see what I can do with it? xx

  8. I would say you did plenty of work on this. Your card didn't get this beautiful on its own! I used to have that die. Why oh why did I let it and some other pretties go? Thinking I don't do many fancy cards, but now I wish I had them back. Love how the sentiment gives a bit of encouragement for strength and hope.

  11. Carol, this is such a pretty card! I love it when cards seem to come together by themselves. You did a great job on the coloring there too. And by the way, I love the word “oddment.” I have never heard that before, but it fits so well. I have many oddments in my stash as well! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday!

  12. So beautiful! I love this magnolia branch with its fantastically colored blossoms. It's my favorite tree in spring. I always admire the different varieties. You chose a very lovely color for the blossom, and you combined it with a beautiful die-cut. It looks so elegant. The ribbon is the perfect finishing touch. Great card!
Thank you so much for sharing it in the current Everybody Art Challenge.

  23. The soft pink magnolia looks beautiful framed this way, and the balance of the die‑cut, ribbon, and stenciled texture gives the whole design a really elegant flow. The way you pulled together those oddments from your stash makes the card feel effortless yet polished, and the coloring brings such warmth to the blooms.

  29. What a cheerful, spring-like card, I love how all those little scraps and oddments came together so seamlessly. That tip from Chrissy about the strip really works beautifully. Do you usually let inspiration guide the whole process, or is it more of a mix with planning?
