Grandads Shed/Mancave

Morning and we have a new ATG challenge at Simply Papercrafts sponsored by Star Stampz---but still no printer so made a card using own stuff-it's hubbys birthday next month so made a card for the grandaughters to give him.Made a square card then two pieces to make the roof,wood B.paper from The Works,pre-coloured topper and little tag from Docrafts(Ithink)foliage die from Elizabeth Craft Designs,metal snali from stash and metal Chinese coin used as a windchime-recycled from a skirt belt yonks ago.

Art Journal Page

Morning and hope you all remembered to put the clocks forward --we have a new "Just for Fun" challenge at A Inky Mess and I made a journal page.A coat of gesso first of all then a couple of Decoart sprays and dripped the green instead of spraying.Stamps are from AALL&Create and the Art stamp from Bee Crafty which was one of four I won last month.The circles were made with a bottle lid dipped in gesso and the green stripes were made with an elastic band wrapped around cardboard and inked.
Think this ended up a little darker than I meantand should have added glossy accents to the light bulbs!

Bee Thankful

I have a quick little thank you card-I painted black card with Aztec silver metallic paint and two sizes of Bee from Chocolate Baroque-the negative part from a Gummiapan die-cut as a frame which I doodled round edges,stamped thank you was a craft mag freebie and the two fussy cut Bees were recycled from a greetings card-everything put onto 3-D sticky pads.

Mini Milk Cartons

Morning and we have a new "Just For Fun" challenge at Crafting With Friends and something different I made up two little die-cut milk cartons I bought from a craft show quite a few years ago which I found whilst looking for a lost die-cut(never found it!!!)The stitched die-cut squares are from The Works,teddy bear stamp was a craft mag freebie and the flower stamp is a Polka Doodle one stamped five times and layered,pearl flower centre from stash and mini bulldog clips from Asda.The cartons are big enough for a Cadburys creme egg.

Will catch up with you all tomorrow as going for tea and having a sleepover at eldest Sons so grandaughters can spend some time with grandsons.

ATC set and a Tag

Morning and I am here with mid-inspiration post for the ATG challenge at Love to Scrap using Jane Austen stamps sponsored by Blank Page Muse.First of all I made a tag-covered it with leftover piece from anothe project-I first smooshed it through oxide ink then stamps from Crafters Companion and edged with oxide--all I had to do then was stamp the sentiment from Blank Page Muse and also the bow 3 times(stamped onto book page) -layered and added a small pearl from stash.

I also made an ATC set with oxide ink background sentiment stamp-craft mag freebie,texture stamp by Lisa Horton from Crafters Companion and the main floral image and bow(stamped onto book page) from the same stamp sheet by Blank Page Muse-tiny pearls from stash and flowers coloured with promarker.

Take Time to Smell the Flowers

Morning and we have a new ATG/Mums challenge starting today at Create and Inspire which is just for fun.The background of my card was made with oxides,then oxides inked through a stencil from The Works,stamped sentiment is from a Holly Hobbie set and the flowers stamp was a craft mag freebie.I stamped the flower onto the card then onto patterned paper offset with a pearl added in the centre.

Pegasus in the Clouds

Morning and I am back with my third and last DT post today for the "Mythological/Fantasy" challenge at Get Creative.
We are sponsored by Dr Digis,Sasayaki Glitter and Angies digital stamps--and I used "Pegasus In the Clouds" from Angie--and no still no printer but had image already.
I just coloured round the outline with blue promarker and added glamour dust to wings and tail,feathers die-cut from HOTP and added glamour dust,all papers are just oddments from stash.
