Autumn Postcard

Morning and we have a new "Autumn" challenge at Daisy Chain and I made a postcard which I also used for a FB swap.
I used distress oxides for the background -ruler and fineliner pen for the lines and all the stamps and sentiment are from an A4 sheet of craft mag freebies(creative stamping mag).

Pimp A Matchbox

I came across an out of the ordinary challenge which I quite fancied having a go at --Pimp Your Matchbox--I have a couple of ideas and this is the first one -not one I planned but kept coming across butterflies sooo went with it.My matchbox is a household box which is just slightly larger than the usual box-12cm x 6.5 cms.
I covered the box in paper from £1 shop/the fancy die-cut borders are Tattered Lace/small black butterflies,brad pull,pearl feet from stash/the oddment on drawer front was from card embossed with TH-EF and wiped with black acrylic.The top butterfly was cut from sticky backed fabric and stuck onto black card for stability,the little butterflies inside were from google--hopefully I have time to make another couple.

ADFD Nap Time

Morning and my word blogging three days in a row!!!I am delighted to say I am back on the DT at CCC Digi Creations-thank you for the invite Lisa.We have a new challenge starting today "Pink-for Breast Cancer Awareness" and we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies.
I used the beautiful image "Nap Time" coloured with promarkers,the papers are all oddments from stash/the flower paper frame is a die-cut negative/ribbon and flower from stash too.
I tied a knot in the ribbom instead of a bow then promptly covered it with the flower!!!Not put a sentiment on yet but would be a perfect new baby card.

The Eyes Have It

Morning and we have a new challenge at Stinkin Inkers-which is "The Eyes Have It." I made a journal page -the background is Aztec metallic paints(actually a page where I just wiped brushes when finished instead of wasting the paint)then marks were made with an old plastic card/bottle top/ruler and fine liner pen and white gel pen-the bubbles border is a rubber stamp I won a couple of months ago from Lost Coast Portal and the birds was a craft mag freebie-the eyes and glasses were actually errrm cough cough borrowed from my grandaughters and was with some marvel comic-so recycling too-could have done with a sentiment though.Just though it added a bit of sci fi to the page--what do you think lol???--Just agree with the crazy woman--and no harm will come to you and yours lol--(only kidding!!!)

Tealight Gift Boxes

Morning and hope you are all well and heading speedily to the "C"word!!!I have two DT posts today the second one for Love To Craft ATG.I made three little tea light gift boxes-I saw the inspiration on Doreens blog and she shared the tutorial here-quite liked them so made three.These are destined for Hollys teachers at Christmas.
Oddments of paper/ribbon and pearls from stash dies from Tattered lace/Memory Box and Creative Dies-stamped sentiments are various craft mag freebies and I added glamour dust to the icicle die.

Truth is------

Morning and I have two DT posts today the first one is for the Fall/Autumn/Thanksgiving challenge at Love to Scrap and we are sponsored by Cas-ual Fridays who generously sent all the DT a stamp set.I received "Truth Is"- you get 3images and 9 sentiments.I loved these stamp and made two project the first is a card using watercolour cardstock and used Decoart Mists and Cosmic Shimmer mists but dripped onto wet card rather than sprayed,stamped the image and sentiment-die cut three leaves with Crafters Companion dies swiped with versamark and used 4 diferent mica powders.

I then made a tag with watercolour cardstock and used same technique and products but diferent sentiment stamps and a flower border also from the set-the edged stamp is a craft mag freebie and distress inked the edges.

Save the Last Dance For me

Morning and I have two DT posts today this second one is for Crafting With Friends and I made an anniversary card for my SIL and her hubby.
The B.paper is from The Works and I used a Martha Stewart border punch,the dancing couple is a Tattered Lace die stood in front of a die from The Works and I used the inside part with mirri card to look like a mirror,the white heart and twine is actually on the paper and the inside heart is part of a die from The Works,corners are peel-offa and sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.
