Birthday Cupcake

I am not totally happy about this card but.. well it's made now,think now finished the purple is too dark.I used a gorgeous Mo's Digital pre coloured topper from Hobby House just added glamour dust,paper "Classic Elegance" from Melissa Frances,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,dies/dewdrops and brad from stash.I also heat embossed the edges of image and banners with Pink Plum embossing pwd.

    I like that you used the EP on the edges of the scalloped circle... subtle but quite nice! Mimics frosting in my mind! And interesting use of the dewdrops for detail. Thank you for sharing your lovely project in the “Add Some Embossing” Challenge at Craft Your Passion.

    Personally, I think the darker color is a great contrast to the lighter and helps it pop. But I understand your feeling - I have cards that make me feel this way too. :) I really like the way you colored the image and all the beautiful details you included.
