Paper Piecing

Morning everyone,I had a day babysitting my little 8mths old grandson Jozef yesterday after an early phone call,Mum had to go into work and dad was ill in bed.So we had a great after-noon and he is just getting the hang of crawling.
There is a new challenge at CRAFTY GIRLS.The challenge is ATG/Paper piecing and the sponsors are Milk Coffee and Sassy Studio Designs whose gorgeous Image "Katniss Lady of Fire" I used ,coloured with promarkers,papers/Docrafts papermania capsule collection Parisienne Blue,coloured cardstock-Papermill Direct,pearls from stash.Now after I printed the image onto the patterned paper I realised this was not the ideal paper to print and try to cut out an image but didn't turn out too badly in the end and with all the pattern (think these papers are elegant and feminine)kept the rest pretty simple and love this layout from Sweet stampin.
