Morning everyone,do you remember me saying my grandaughter Ellie (7yrs)was having problems at school and socially, well she has been assesed and apparently has some genetic problems sooo another assesment, meetings when they are back at school and back to see the specialist in 6 months, they think it could be a strain of Aspergers bless her she has really struggled the last 10 months, think it was brought to a head when they went to Spain for a week then back home for a week, then moved out into their own house and a new class at school-too much for her to cope with with no preparation,as she doesn't cope well with change to her routine and with hindsight we can now see the reason behind some of her behaviour.Right onto my canvas, been dying to have another go after my first but only just finally had time to play.Coated canvas with gesso, added spiders web, lace(recycled off old net curtains),corrugated cardboard die-cut,wooden heart and flowered clock face, flowers, buttons, dewdrops, tiny bows all from stash, homemade modelling paste through a stencil and heat embossed gold round the edges and swiped pan pastel over the raised pattern.Hope you like it.

A big Hug to Ellie, and hope her routine can settled so that she gets back to a routine that is comforting for her. Think this is one of the best cards you've done to date! Absolutely love it. Your gesso is so pretty and the idea of the lovely lace into it, just beautiful. My last 2 attempts with embossing paste have not been successful, so I'm especially admiring of your work here. The textures you have created, the white with the pale hues of the flowers...magnificently done. Love it! TFS & Hugs
