Sympathy Card

I had to make this sympathy card for the family of a long standing neighbour aged 88yrs who has just died,he has been ill for a long time but at least had a peaceful death in his chair, but still a shock however expected. My image was coloured with promarkers and B.paper from Craftworks cards, cardstock from Papermill Direct.

  10. I'm sure this sympathy card will be appreciated, and your design is very appropriate for a sad occasion.
I find them so hard to do, and the closer I am to the person or family the harder it is.

  24. This is one of the hardest cards to make, I think. Your work is very pretty, with the colors you've selected to go with the white or cream background. I especially liked the treatment of the corner flowers too. I'm sure it will bring comfort at a time when most needed. TFS & Hugs

  29. Beautiful. Sympathy cards always make me very emotional and also seeing how peaceful and respectable your card is, gives me comfort. Maybe a bit weird thing to say, but that's the truth.
Thank you for entering the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #9 "Make a Card". Good luck and looking forward to seeing you again!
