Morning everyone hope you are all well and keeping warm.Well despite the cards I have to post I just cannot get into Christmas mode and still have cards to post-usually all done and posted by the 1st December, and haven't even thought about presents yet!!!Mind you doesn't help the local shops having Cadburys Creme eggs in??? no wonder the years fly past we are constantly living in the future!Saying that I have three Christmas DT cards for the new challenge at Artistic Inspirations. Our sponsor is Pickled Potpourri Designs, and I chose their beautiful image "Christmas Candle"(this is my favourite Christmas image of all time)coloured with promarkers, added glossy accents and gold glamour dust,I thought the candlestick effect looked great just achieved because my gold promarker has just about ran out and didn't colour properly lol, cardstock from Papermill Direct,Tim Holtz and Tattered Lace dies,Tattered lace craft mag freebie papers, ribbon from stash, papers and flowers on 3rd one from stash.I also used a great layout from a Digi Sketch challenge a couple of weeks ago.

It's amazing how different the two first card looks even with the same layout! With the number of Christmas cards I need each year I should constantly make two and two, like you did here. Hey, you even did three! Great job showcasing this image in different ways.

ReplyDeleteHi, Carol! I saw your card at AI and fell in love with the PPD designs! GORGEOUS! Your cards are beautiful, and I am happy to know that I'm not flying solo in trying to get Christmas cards made! LOL This year, I did not make them all year long as I have in the past, so I'm creating "cheater cards" with die cuts and K&Company paper LOL Enjoy the moment! hugs, de
