Morning everyone and the weekend again means a new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun which is "Shabby Chic"-our sponsors are
The East Wind,PpinkyDolls Art,Kith and Kin Digital Stamp Co and All Dressed Up whose beautiful image I used-"Looking Gorgeous" ,coloured with promarkers(a couple of tips from son who owns his own Tattoo Studio and a brilliant artist),cardstock from Papermill Direct,I made the background by using gesso on cardstock then a layer of kitchen roll for texture, more gesso then distress inks, scrip and flourish stamps,I also used some glossy accents crackle(which didn't crackle!)the fabric flowers, dewdrops, lace and seam binding from stash,I stamped the flowers and leaves and coloured with distress inks splashed with picket fence, distressed the edges and used silicone to create depth between the layers. This is my first "proper"go at shabby chic and i am absolutely delighted with the result and would like to thank Pamellia for some fantastic inspiration.
