Morning again and back with my second card which is for another brand new Mixed Media challenge blog W
here The Heart Is which we are so excited about and our first challenge is "Use text" and as our sponsor is
Chubby Mermaid we were given the image "Bliss".I stamped the first layer with a flourish round the edges,then a small butterfly one on the second layer,then a strip which I embossed with a brick wall EF and coloured with distress sprays,then a layer of purple paper and finally the image-I had the bright idea os printing on tissue paper and my printer smeared ink all over the image,then decides to have a go at watercolour which made the ink bleed!!!finallt decided to colour with my panpastels and twinkling H2O's.Then my two grandaughters(6 and 8) gave me so much stick over "the messy colouring" lol that I printed another on copy paper and just coloured strips with my promarkers-I have posted both to see what you think lol.I distressed all edges and splattered with watered down white acrylic paint and decided to glue onto a canvas but mine were either too small or too large but will get another when in town.So if you are into mixed media hope you will join us.
