Another Heart

I had a play with another chipboard heart,this time I gave it a coat of gesso the a coat of acrylic, a layer of my new product weathered wood crackle medium then almost covered it up lol.I added lace round the edge,small pearls round the inside,found a small postcard image(wish I had distressed edges now)a large advert image which I just tore the the edges of the couple,added some fibres,a small wooden heart(and pearls and fibres)won from Live and Love Crafts,then decided to add a flower and found one which looked like an old dried rose-perfect a quick spray of Ancient Copper mica and a flick of watered down white acrylic.

    Wow Carol, this is just gorgeous!! I'm so glad your image is big because I zoomed right in so I could soak up all the details!! I love the crackle in the background, that really adds so much amazing texture! Your ruffled edged is just so soft, what a gorgeous contrast with the distressed vintage images!!
