Shelby

Morning everyone and just one card today but would just like to thank you all for the lovely comments on my last few cards-my DT card for Get Creative-the challenge is ATG/Fantasy/Mythological and we are sponsored by The Fantasy Art Of Nikki Burnette so I used the image Shelby,coloured with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,dies/papers/handmade flowers and metal snail from stash.I stamped the background on the image and used mica flakes(which I won) for the wings.

    What a fabulous idea of using the mica flakes on her wings, Carol! Really brings out the magical feel of your card. It's a beautiful image! I like the snail a lot! LOL - they are fine on cards, but not in the garden. Carol, you mentioned stamping the background on the image. Did you cut a mask? Or have I misunderstood? I don't see any of the vines through the lighter colors of your fairy, that's why I'm asking. It really does present a fantastic design. The back panel is REALLY GORGEOUSLY done!
