Morning everyone and hope you are all ready for our first challenge on a brand new mixed media challenge blog--
A Inky Mess-ATG/mixed media-there will be a new challenge on the 25th of every month so plenty of time to getting working on your projects.This month our sponsor is Ikes Art and I have used "Walls of Sadness" coloured with promarkers,I coloured the image grey to reflect the negative sentiment against the coloured background,and balanced this with the more positive words.I made a journal page sprayed with my new Deco Art Misters,stencilled over with a brick stencil and distress inkpad,the brick paper was downloaded from Google and the words are from Crafters Companion.

ReplyDeleteYou are so adept at using these images I would never have a clue as to how to present. I love that sentiment too. The background is so nice with the image, and of course, your coloring is always spot on with lots of shading & highlights. Love the brick texture with the splats of color in the far background. A nice contrast with the paler shades of the face. TFS & Hugs
