Morning and can you believe the start of another month???I have four DT makes today and this is the fourth for
Delicious Doodles -delighted to have been invited for Guest Designer for August-thank you Avril.I used the striking image
Raven-no colouring required except a small ammount of brown on the tree and inked sky,cardstock from
Papermill Direct,papers from Tattered Lace(craft mag freebie)fibres from stash and I silver heat embossed a feather stamp(Craft Stamper mag freebie)I used silicone gel between the layers for some height and finished.

ReplyDeleteThe image is kind of masculine, with the black and silver feathers adding a bit of a dramatic touch to this design. Love the papers you've chosen too, it all works so well together.

Striking and Handsome, Carol! It's a wonderful card creation with the best colors, layered panels, and feathers done with the raven-shini-ness (can that be a word?). When I first saw it I thought of Poe's "Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore". LOL But seriously, it is a fantastic design in every way! Now for my other hat:
