Ivy Corner ATC

Morning and we have an new monthly mixed media challenge starting today at A Inky Mess sponsored by Ikes Art-I made an ATC and used the image Ivy Corner coloured with my new Graphic Line Paint pens and a water brush to create a watercolour effect.I put the image onto 3-D foam and embossed the backing card with Leaf EF from Crafters Companion then rubbed Mica pwd over the embossing/cardstock from Papermill Direct and liquid pearls from stash,the little Bee stamp is from Chocolate Baroque.

  12. Such a fun creation, Carol! I especially like the contemporary coloring of your ivy leaves! And those crazy busy bees! I always enjoy watching the bees and wasps pollenating my flowers as I hand-water each pot. I've created a big variety for them, and there are so many types that visit the blooms! This is what your mixed media masterpiece reminds me of. Lovely art! hugs, de

  14. Gorgeous Carol, it is so nice to see something which is a bit different. The little bees are so much fun and remind me of a Honeypot cross stitch I made, oh so many years ago, I loved that design..... buzzzzz!
