Morning and hope you all remembered to put the clocks forward --we have a new "Just for Fun" challenge at
A Inky Mess and I made a journal page.A coat of gesso first of all then a couple of Decoart sprays and dripped the green instead of spraying.Stamps are from AALL&Create and the Art stamp from Bee Crafty which was one of four I won last month.The circles were made with a bottle lid dipped in gesso and the green stripes were made with an elastic band wrapped around cardboard and inked.
Think this ended up a little darker than I meantand should have added glossy accents to the light bulbs!

Woohoo, fab art journal page. I love the swinging light balbs, they remind me of the opening of credits of the old Edward Woodward show 'Callan' (never thought I would get to write that on your blog!) - my dad would let my stay up late to watch it with him, you have bought back so many memories. You must be in the UK. We changed our clocks here in the US a while back. How do we all keep track? You're so creative with your mixed media. Fun reading all the non-traditional tools you used for creating this. An art journal is a good idea. I have a notebook that could use some dressing up, but I'd probably never do anything this awesome. Love it!
