Braids In My Hair

Morning and I have two DT posts today-the first one is for the "Just for Fun" challenge at Simply Papercrafts.This card was an order from a neighbour-for her little boy to give to his Aunt.The embossing folder and shoe die are Tattered Lace,papers from The Works,wine glasses are a craft mag freebie stamp and die set,ribbon/liquid pearls and pearls from stash,sentiment was computer generated in Dafont, beautiful image is "Braids in my Hair" from ADFD and coloured with promarkers,texture stamp from Crafters Comanion stamped round edges of image.

    First of all, this is the prettiest image which I've always admired, and the card you made for it is truly unique and beautiful. Most of all, I think it's the sweetest thing that it was made for a little boy to give to his aunt. She must be some special lady!

    This is one of those cards that makes you go, 'Aaaahhhh...' when you see it! I love this image, and you've done such a spectacular job with her! I love the effect you've created with your texture stamp around the image and the gorgeous papers you've used to layer up. Your shoe die is breathtaking too! Such a stunning card!
