80th Birthday

Morning and I have a birthday card to show today I made this one for my hubby to give to his brother on his 80th birthday last month.I used a pic from when he worked on the Dock Head and printed it out three different sizes to see which one looked better and ended up using them all lol.The B.paper was from The Works/the frame from stash had absolutely yonks and no idea where it came from-but have a couple more too!!!/the metal cogs were embossed with Baked Earth EP(my first attempt using them)the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont and was copied from the back of photos which my FIL used to use for leaving messages to his sons.I can say hw was delighted with the card-thankfully.

  9. I can't imagine there not being a little choking up when this card was received. Lots of loving care went into it. Memory things like this really grab my heart. The cogs look great with the EP and the wood grain paper is perfect.

I have never thought to emboss cogs before, they look amazing. Sometimes I can be such an idiot! Haha.
