Late post here and hope you all had a great Christmas---I have made my New Years resolutions already--at least once a week I am going to make a project using an unused or neglected item of stash and to use a forgotten or a new technique - I have so many unused stamps/dies it's unreal also having a BIG declutter--starting with the stamp giveaway in post above!!!
I am posting a banner made for a monthly swap on a FB stamping forum.
This month the theme was Christmas so I used a holly sprig paper background from stash and the stamps were craft mag freebies--seeeee get plenty of use out of these whilst brand new unused bought ones lay in drawer!!!I also stamped images using the masking technique-first of my forgotten techniques lol

ReplyDeleteI love those three French hens and that you stamped them on the holly paper. Very cool! Resolutions... I should make some crafting resolutions and stick to them. I like the sound of yours. I need to catch up on my not yet used stamps. Trouble is, I keep adding to them! Good luck with your declutter!

I love your banner and love your chicken stamp! I had a big clear out when I join Stampin' Up! Carol. I had just been adding and adding to my stash and nothing ever matched and I would get so frustrated and neglect everything! Gave a lot to local school and some crafty kids I knew and also donated lots of the good stuff to my daughter-in-law. So I'm not looking nice and neat with my Stampin' Up! items and everything co-ordinates!! Good luck with next year!! I'll be watching out for those techniques x
ReplyDeleteSuper Banner Carol - I hope you and yours had a lovely Christmas - Michelle x
