Right first of all --no more ducks!!! we had another foxy visit last night and not a pretty sight this morning to greet me!!!Just hope he doesn't make another visit tonight back for the chickens have taken extra precautions tonight just hope it's enough.
I made a birthday card for my two little grandsons to give to their other Grandma whose birthday it was today so now safe to share-as Hanna is Polish she is known as Babcia(Bab-cha)instead of Grandma.I used a phot of the two boys to personalise it for her.The papers are from The Works,die-cut branches were stems on flowers with the flowers cut off,and I used a matchstick inked to elongate the stick Jozef is holding, I also added Heather flower soft. The sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

Oh no!! Those foxes are bad Carol!! Hope all went ok the next night. I love your card, so personal, a real keeper.
ReplyDeleteOh I am sorry for the ducks, Carol. It seems foxes are very hungry.
ReplyDeleteSome years ago, foxes ate all my chickens except one!
Yes, you should definitely take precautions.
Lovely personalised birthday card, my friend. I am sure Babcia loved it!
Hugs, my dear friend.
Oh Carol, sorry to hear about your fox visit. I have chickens too, so I hope you can keep them safe. I love your card and I would be a happy grandma to get something like this. CarolG
ReplyDeleteOhh nasty Carol, our Fox light seems to work wonders but we did have an unpleasant visit from a neighbouring farmers dog last week, four dead hens, the rest traumatised and as it was dusk they roosted all over the place. Amazingly the Fox didn't get any that night. The ducks sensibility went to the houses. Great card anyway.

At first glance I thought you used real twigs. The Flower Soft adds to the realism of it. Looks like moss or lichen. Love the wood grain. Really, just love it all over. Best for Babcia is that it has the boys front and center. I'm sure she loved it! Sad about the ducks, darn it.
ReplyDeleteThe flower stems look great on here, at first I thought you’d brought on real stuff from nature on here. Goes really well with the image.
