Morning and I have two Christmas cards to share using my fabulous new "Grumpy Penguins" stamp from Katzelkraft-I have made four cards with these so two left to share lol.
Strips of P.paper from stash, stamped sentiment from Penny Black and my favourite texture stamp round the edges.
Background on first card was an unliked watercolour my daughter did and she tore it up and binned-then I rescued it knowing it would be brilliant for backgrounds-binning it indeed lol
The background on the second card was made with a piece of card used for cleaning my brayer.

ReplyDeleteI love your ingenious backgrounds - want not, waste not, as my mother always said. It also occurs to me that they are the perfect candidate for monochrome cards and great for batch card making .. you can tell I have a one tracked mind at the moment.

I love when we save a scrap and it can be used!!! Who would have known - they look great. Carol, you know I love all your cards but I am having trouble with these "grumpy penguins"! LOL Just can't wrap my head around their even grumpy eyebrows!!!! LOL Such a different stamp and just love what you created with this stamp!!! Big hugs

ReplyDeleteI love these Katzelkraft stamps! These days I think nothing should be thrown out because it can always be cut down as a background or die cut into a shape or word and then it looks fabulous. Yes, binning indeed. Sheesh!
