Morning-just lol and my 4" square Fat Page for today is a Thank You to the NHS(carers and all the other key workers keeping everything going) with a freebie image from FB-coloured with promarkers and paper pieced -I also printed image out 4 times and layered.
All the rest is just oddments from stash.
Last week instead of just clapping for the NHS and Carers John took out a pan and wooden spoon -this week the little girl next door had hers too and a woman a few doors away does the same only this week John banged so hard he broke my wooden spoon and this morning found it back in the drawer lol ???

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card and image thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this image, isn't it perfect for a NHS tribute? I love how you have worked in several rainbow themes. I think you should send it to your local hospital or medical centre, I bet they would love to receive it.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea using a wooden spoon and pan, although it could get expensive on wooden spoons!
Dionne xx
Lovely page, Carol. I love the paper piecing you have done here.
ReplyDeleteHugs Monica
Sensational post and love the reason behind it all here. So the wooden spoon is broken but at least it's only that and lives are saved...Have a good Saturday.xx
ReplyDeleteYou smile about your husband and the pot and (broken) spoon made me smile. Something my hubby would do! (Both start a new movement *and* return a broken utensil without even a word 😁) Your card is simply wonderful... from all the rainbowy goodness to the paper piecing! Such a nice way to honor the frontline heroes! I often wonder if the poor souls who get off their 12-18 hours shifts to go home for such much needed rest find that "honoring" as much fun as the ones sharing their appreciation? Then again, many are not even going home and are just crashing at the hospital to take a nap before resuming their heroic work! I'm sure hope they know how much they are truly appreciated!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge and I hope you come back and play again 😊
ReplyDeleteLove this Carol. The rainbows are beautiful and love your colouring too. Just perfect for a NHS tribute.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
Hugs, Lisa
This is so adorable. Just love the image and rainbows. That is so funny...if mail wouldn't cost so much and take FOREVER....I would send you a wooden spoon, lol. Where is the image from???

ReplyDeleteThis is so very cute and cheerful. Good to have a page that documents the times. I've seen news footage of the clapping and some banging on pans with spoons. I wonder how many broken wooden spoons there will be at the end of this? Take care and keep on paying homage to the health care workers. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFun card with a great image and rainbows indicating the storm will soon be over (hopefully) Sorry about your wooden spoon, but how did it mysteriously repair itself again I wonder? LOL
