Morning and I have two DT posts today -the first one is for A Place To Start and the challenge is to Create A Custom Background-no papers.
I made a journal page after watching Tracy Evans live demos on FB.
I white embossed the stamp which is an 8"x6" square stamp from Docrafts which I have only had for five years and this is the first time used-then oxides where swiped over the stamp and sprayed with water-the stamped sentiment is from IndigoBlu-I die cut a circle then stamped a tulip from Art Journey onto more oxide inked card and watercolour paper(which is a couple of years and first time inked more neglected stash used!)
I stamped the flower three times and layered then glued the whole thing onto the circle.I didn't have a number stamp so found a stencil with numbers and stencilled onto a piece of material and added to the corner and also a metal brad, then a few splatters to finished.

Carol that is stunning. Love the monochromatic look and the splatters.
ReplyDeleteThe white against the shades of green (and I bet Tracy used evergreen bough) looks so good and you have introduced so much interest without distracting for the focal bloom. Many thanks for sharing and joining in with our 'Say it with Flowers' theme at Stamping Sensations May challenge.
