Mini Accordion Book

Morning and I have been following Tracy Evans live FB demos practically every day and following one of them I made a mini accordion book using the needlebook die from Eileen Hull for the cover-Tracy was selling these aready cut and we made the pages to fit inside.
The covers measure 3-1/2" x 2" and the inside pages were made using papers cut to 10"x 3-1/2" cut two score at every 2" and glue together to make one long continuous accordion-cutting off two sections for the covers, then 20 smaller pieces to decorate the pages.

The cover was covered in distress oxide and all the smaller pieces were smooshed with oxides hickory smoke and fossilised amber. Then I used stamps from IndigBlu-Woodware-Bee Crafty-Artistic Stamper-Altenew-Inkylicious-Docrafts and Rubber Dance plus quite a few craft mag freebies and a stamp from Graphicus which was informed today they have been closed for 15-20years!Tim Holtz stencil and a dotty texture stamp-some overstamping with oxides and paper piecing with book pages and an added postage stamp-really enjoyed making this and will definitely make another one in different colours.I added a piece of thin elstic twine and a metal key for closure.

  38. Oh wow! I would have such a hard time making something like this, just being able to pick out stamps that go so well together. If I were to pint out a few details I’ll hsve to mention the pagesith the feathers, it immediately stood out to me. And so clever to have the elastic band with key to hold the book together. Well done!
