Right last card CAS now back to full on lol.I made this card for my sons 50th next Saturday but blogging it early as wanted to catch a couple of challenges and he doesn't follow my blog anyway -how rude!!!As long as I don't paste it on FB lol
I made a pop-up or Ta-Da card prefer the Ta-Da myself sounds more impressive.
The papers are from TH and K&C(only about 10-15yrs old!)Embossing folders from TH-recycled corrugated cardboard packaging-two tags(not sure of origin)all the stamped images are from an A4 size set of stamps free with Creative Stamper craft mag last year-everything edged with distress ink-Screw head brads from stash.

Carol that is an awesome vintage card and I'm sure that your son will love it. My son doesn't follow my blog, but does pay attention to my cards when I put them on Facebook...not that he comments or likes them, lol.

Ta da card sounds good to me and it describes it well. Wow, such great stamps, and with all the tags and embossed papers this looks perfectly masculine.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous keepsake card the outer and inner papers stamping and embellishments make the perfect masculine card
ReplyDeleteYou're really good at getting the mag stamps, Carol - this looks a lot like a couple of my stamps from a long time ago, lol. What a great card. I have a die that does the twisty popup insert but sometimes I think it would be just as quick doing these things myself! I actually enjoy scoring, etc.
ReplyDeleteThis is great and a lovely card for your son. I hope he likes it...a lot of work went into it. Sometimes it's good to have a mess about with masculine type images for a change.
