Morning and we have a new "Embossing" challenge at Craft Rocket and I combined this with a 30th(Pearl) wedding anniversary card order.
I use a Crafters Companion embossing folder for the background and inked folder with grey oxide before embossing.
Ribbon and pearls from stash a stamped sentiment---selection of dies from Spellbinders/Elizabeth Craft Designs/Marianne Creatables/Memory Box and The Works-the small central trellis heart from Dutch Doobadoo had these for years!

ReplyDeleteWow absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Carol. Gorgeous or what!
ReplyDeleteStunning card, the inking on the embossing folder looks amazing, I love how you have made it uneven, giving some bricks more definition than others. The little paper flowers are adorable, the pearl centre is a great finishing touch, and the layered hearts really draw the eye to your focal point.
Great work.
Dionne xx

OMWord, this is amazing! First off, the embossed panel looks fantastic. I never get a good result with the inking, but I haven't tried oxide inks and maybe that would make a difference. I'm going to try, thanks to your inspiration. All your layering of the dies is just so beautiful on this card!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!!! What a perfect card for a wedding celebration. I need some cards for some weddings coming our way and your card gave me a ton of inspirations - but I do not think I will get my card to be as stunning as yours! The softness mixed with the brick embossing background with the grey ink - very clever! Hubby and I just celebrated our 53rd wedding anniversary! I was only 4 yrs old when we married!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous and so elegant. Love the embossing folder.
ReplyDeletePerfect for our Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you have shared your great artwork with us here at Always Fun Challenges.
