Morning and I have a star card to share today now I made my first one on Thursday (but can't blog that one yet and couldn't believe how easy it was first attempt ---so first mistake decided to make a Christmas one-now after my first result I got a bit cocky and came unstuck!!!I stamped and watercoloured a poinsettia image three times and decoupaged then misjudged pattern on my papers so that was another bin entry!
I die-cut a circle from glittery mirri card and added the flowers got as far as taking the pic and the poinsettias looked rubbish so they came off-papers and sentiment -also stamped sentiment were craft mag freebies-first topper also went in the bin and decided to go with this one even though not entirely happy with result. The sparkly snowflakes were gifted from another blogger-thank you Dionne. The first word of sentiment is not covered it was the angle I took the pic---trust me lol.

ReplyDeleteHa ha, thank you for the shout-out Carol. I am so pleased you were able to find a use for the little snowflakes - they were made with a Sizzix Bigz die, which I got from Stampin' Up, I think they called the die Snow Flurry.
ReplyDeleteI love this shape card, if it is as easy as you say, I may have a go at making some star easel cards myself (I suspect I shall spend the rest of the evening watching tutorials). Such a great idea for Christmas - it has a great visual impact.
