Retirement

Morning and I have a retirement card to show today -I did have an image but after being kept awake last night till late then woken up early with noisy neighbours I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to colour-then saved because I had a Spring fold card to make for a private challenge tutorial HERE. and whilst looking for papers I found a clock image-clocks-retirement-right? so saved by the clock lol

The topper was cut from a Hunkydory paper,P,paper and gems were from stash and the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

  19. What an amazing card Carol, I love this shape. Wonderful colour combinations - the clock face reminds me of mother of pearl.

Noisy neighbours can be the worse, I know. They keep you awake all hours and can be quite intimidating.

    Take care.

PS Fab orchids, the peach one is such a delicate colour.

  20. Oh my Carol I love your card. This is perfect for retirement using the clock. I am so glad you shared over at Aud Sentiments (and Crafty Sentiments) bummer on noisy neighbors. I live in the country and it's always so quiet and neighbors are far enough away you don't hear a thing.. I do remember the close neighbor noise though. Never fun. Take care. Be safe.

  35. How pretty, Carol! I love your dramatic pink and black them, and your beautiful shapes! I’ve never seen orchids growing in containers like those! How incredible! Their roots are so interesting that it’s a wonderful idea to let them be seen as well as their lovely blooms. I don’t have any orchids just now. I’ve been reorganizing my dies... a slow process for me lol... and enjoying some cardmaking just for fun these days. This week I’ve regained a bit of energy, so I spend a 5 minute morning segment pruning our rapidly growing shrubbery. Jack has our new green house completed, and he is now building the shelves on the inside. Been reading quite a bit, and resting a lot. Still struggling with resting because it feels like I’m wasting time, but Jack reminds me it’s not wasting time if my body needs it. Hugs, de
