Morning and here we are October already!!!
I have two DT posts today and the second one is for the Add Sparkle challenge at Craft Rocket.
Now if you remember the candle box card I made-well I bought a journal and it came in a see through sturdy box so I decorated it to give the card in as a gift this week.
I found the strip of paper in my oddments drawer (well one of them lol) and I heat embossed in silver the Butterfly from Chocolate Baroque.
NOW I must have took about 20 pics off this in different rooms,in a box and using my daylight lamp in the end I gave up and used the best two---the reason is the P.paper is a delicate shade of green and nowhere near the colour shown???
oops tragedy averted there instead of uploading pic pressed delete good job it was still in basket!!!

Oh Carol this is stunning :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is so delicate and beautiful with that gorgeous butterfly! I always have trouble getting a good photo of any green cardstock or paper for some reason. I think my camera may be allergic to that color? LOL
ReplyDeleteGetting a good photo can be so frustrating, I love this card, just the delicate features with the butterfly and flowers and lovely colours xx
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Carol, love the softness and sheen on the butterfly..beautiful card..
ReplyDeleteLuv CHRISSYxx
I mean box, and I know what you mean by the light getting the colours wrong..so annoying..

Sometimes it's just too hard to photograph everything we see in real life so that others can "see" what we do..which is why I take more than one photo on my posts! LOL! I just LOVE that butterfly and how you've captured the pretty metallic with the curved wings! So soft and pretty my friend! HUGS
ReplyDeletewow i'm in love with your beautiful shiny butterfly Carol. What a great creation. Dear greetings xx

Beautiful shine on the butterfly, and I love the pretty paper, whatever the color. I know about that photo frustration, though. Good thing you kept that box!
ReplyDeleteDelicate and light, and beautiful (even if the colour didn't come out true - I have that problem often). I like how you 'bowed' the wings to show off the shine. CarolG
ReplyDeleteVery delicate looking design paper background and a lovely butterfly. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, for some reason I am seeing hardly any of your posts, I only found this on FB, its a gorgeous card, so pretty.xx
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, a very special and beautiful card, love the embossed butterfly. Thank you for joining us at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, I hope you will join us again very soon. Apologies for running behind with commenting... Megan DT LPoCF
ReplyDeleteCarol this is such a pretty card. Your embossed butterfly is particularly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the difficulty of taking photos particularly when it is raining and dark as it has been lately. I try to do it in my hubby's office with daylight coming through his window but sometimes the colours are off or the sparkle looks more dull than in real life.
Thank you very much for entering your lovely card into our challenge. Good luck with the prize draw.
Stay healthy, happy, keep crafting and Creating Joy :)
