Sympathy Card

 Morning and I have a sympathy card today for our BIL and family.

Johns sister has been unwell for a couple of years but we received a phone call last Thursday asking us to go and see her for the last time-very unexpectedly she had deteriorated in the last couple of days and just after we got there she was taken into hospital-on the Friday she was taken off all medication and sadly she died late Saturday night.

I used  a stamp from Pink Frog with just a hint of colour using promarkers,and the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

No challenges for this one.

W-Fold Card

 Morning -this card was a request from Grandaughters to give to their Bonus Mum on her birthday-now they are back at school and Hollie doesn't have  much time here to craft.I made a W-fold card using a tutorial from

 Beccys Place.

She loves Giraffes and Elephants so used Giraffe images from ADFD and Toadstool Printables-the Elephant was a craft mag freebie but I stamped it out-then scanned it so I could resize it oooh get me lol that's as technical as I get!

Dies from TL,Crafters Companion and Creative Dies, all images were coloured with promarkers and P.paper from K&C from yonks ago but steadily getting through it.

 

Now the front they wanted plain so that she wouldn't expect the inside bless them.No sentiment as they want to write something personal on the back from them.

Found an oddment of P.paper from goodness knows where that fitted the front and I had a die cut  stencilled piece in oddment box also found a little leftover flower and added a card candy to the centre.

Slide and Lock Card

 Morning and I have made a card for the Slide and Lock challenge at Butterfly Spot,thought it looked a bit complicated at first but quite surprised how easy it was.Both sides of card slip into the topper which acts as a lock.

The P.papers are old ones from K&C had them for yonks,the butterfly and borders on the lock were fussy cut from papers in stash.The stamped sentiment inside was a craft mag freebie from I think InigoBlu.

I used stitched square dies inside were  a craft mag freebie from I think TL and I faux stitched round the borders on the front of the card.

Fashion Album

 Morning and I made a little album a couple of months ago using oddments of P.paper from Art By Marlene ,black cardstock and an old border punch.

Then it has just sat there as none of my stamps or images seemed to go with.

Then I saw the new Fashion Sense challenge at River of Creativity and as I love these images from Rick St Dennis they seemed perfect the image on the back is a pre-coloured one from LOTV.

The other images were coloured with promarkers and used an old wooden dot stamp for round the edges,black ribbon from stash -now quite happy with this.

Autumn Leaves

 I cut some overgrown Ivy and saved a few leaves to dry and the largest one I decided to use with distress inks and make a background.I then found a tiny leaf stamp from goodness knows where and stamped second generation so not too dark.

TH leaves die-cut from sprayed and splatter card and stamped the little mushrooms from Rubber Dance onto the same card and one on a snippet of P.paper found in the bin.

The stamped sentime was from IndigBlu looks a little lost but didn't want to stamp it onto separate card.

Paper Pieced Flowers.

 Morning -Mojo popped in for a flying visit yesterday and I had a play made two cards and finished one WIP.

I have made a birthday card for a family friend I met at Grandsons birthday party and since then she has always left lovely comments on my cards on FB and I also wanted to join in the Challenge For Kath at Allsorts using paper pieced flowers.

 

I used a beautiful Chocolate Baroque stamp,a little ladybird stamp from a Pink Frog set and stamped sentiment was a craft mag freebie.Leaves and Ladybird are watercoloured.

 

I used two different P.papers as the first ones were a bit pale so I used both and offset them, stencils from Stencil Girl and Creative Expressions.

Diamond Point and Embossing

 Late one again- I made an anniversary for my Sister and BIL which has now been received so safe to blog-actually she doesn't read my blog---rude!!!

I made another diamond point card using K&C papers from yonks ago,I gold embossed the Rose from Honey Doo Crafts onto a Spellbinders die-cut frame.

Ta-Da Retirement Card

 Morning and September can you believe? We have a new ATG/School Dayz/anything school related challenge at 613 Avenue Create and welcome to our Guest Designer MARITZA.

This time I went with ATG as I had an unusual  request for a retirement card -the lady who is retiring works in a Funeral Parlour and the brief was a pic of the lady/a coffin/Funeral Parlour cars and funny funeral anecdotes---so off to google but not entirely happy with the printing quality from my new printer -okay if just black and white but forget colour! 

I decided to make a Ta-Da card (Twist and pop card tutorial from Beccys)as a way to use all the little pics and thankfully they were really pleased with the card phew!

The wood effect P,paper was from The Works(at least 3yrs old) and the coffin was coloured with promarkers and a gold pen. Sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.
