Gift Basket

Been struggling with mojo as I have a chest infection not had one since last Dec finally got through to Dr today and had to wait all day for a call back to be told sorry no appointments ring at 8 again in the morning like I did today to be told 100 people in the queue cannot take your call!!!

Anyway looking for something in craft room and found instructions to make this so it's a start lol.

P,paper from The Works, dies from Creative Dies and added some little Lavender sticks and candle.

  8. Pesky robot, I keep forgetting to click it and lost my comment.

It's beyond me what GP's are doing as telephone consults surely take less time than a face to face, yet it's the same story everywhere.

Loving your gift basket, absolutely perfect for our theme at River of Creativity, thanks so much.

  9. Oh dear Carol…keep persevering with the dr…it took me 10 days to get a telephone appointment!….honestly don’t know what they are doing but it’s not a good service anymore….

  11. So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, so very frustrating for you not being able to get treatment. Have you tried a walking in consultant at the pharmacy? I know a lot are doing that now and they might be able to help.

In the mean time I dropped by to congratulate you on another crafty piece, that basket is a triumph think I might need to find out how to copy you, AGAIN! Thank you for adding this to the River of Creativity, xx

  12. Sorry you are not feeling well. Getting a drs appointment is such a struggle at the moment. My two-year-old niece has been struggling with an ear infection and her parents really had to push to get an appointment.

Your basket is gorgeous. Love the purple tones too. Creative Blessings, Tracy x

  15. What a lovely gift basket with some beautiful goodies inside! I hear you on the healthcare issues. Who knew making an appointment would be such an ordeal, but I go through it here too, hanging on the phone for sometimes 30 minutes and then abruptly being hung up on after waiting all that time. I do hope you feel better soon and that infection clears up too! hugs

  16. I absolutely LOVE your basket Carol, what gorgeous gifts also.
As for the Drs. What's changed I need to know since Covid, same Drs same staff and it seems patients are no longer wanted or not cared about. I had something wrong with me and was asked to send a photo by email before the Dr would see me!
    Keep safe and healthy Carol.

  20. Your basket has turned out brilliantly, what a lovely present it makes. That's another Christmas present done anyway. So sorry to hear your chest is bad, hope you get through tomorrow and you are able to access treatment. If you get chest infections a lot, you know when you need treatment. It is so worrying how accessing treatment is so difficult now xx

  31. This is lovely Carol. I hope that you're feeling better than you were, the NHS is definitely on it's knees! I know what you mean about mojo. I started with a non Covid Flu bug three weeks ago. I spent the first five days in bed and I'm still struggling to shake it off, so thank goodness that I have some scheduled posts that I can use. Take care of yourself and get well soon x

  33. Oh Carol, sorry to hear that you have been unwell, how are you feeling now? It is so hard to get hold of a GP these days,I often wonder if getting hold of one will ever return to how it was pre-COVID.

I just love your basket, it is so pretty, perfect for those little Christmas presents of Easter eggs.
