Hollie-Ann Update

When Hollie was admitted she couldn't talk or even drink when she was admitted the Dr took one look and drained the abscess with no pain relief bless her.

But after that and thanks to a fluid/antibiotic drip and morphine pain relief  I can now say she is feeling much better and even managed something to eat -that didn't take long and here we were worried sick!!!

She still looks unwell but after what she has gone through who wouldn't but better than last couple of days -she has a room complete with shower and toilet to herself and app the team who was looking after her have been brilliant and they have checked on her every hour -they are really pleased with how she has responded to the treatment way to go Hollie!!! So a complete weight off our minds and be able to sleep(hopefully) tonight.

Thank you all for your lovely get well messages they were really much appreciated--Thank you

  2. Oh I'm so pleased she's feeling better. Poor kid it must have been horrible for her. We don't realise how resiliant our kids are until something like this happens. They're such little warriors x

  10. Thanks for the updates on how Holly is. I am so glad she is on the mend, but I fear it may take her a while to get back to her normal self. What a challenge when you are only 12, but I am sure she will rise to it. She is a plucky girl by all accounts xx
