Morning and I needed a birthday card and used a split card design using inspiration from Jackie.
The stamped Punky Flowers are from Chocolate Baroque stamped twice and used the spotlight technique with a circle of the image coloured with promarkers and added on 3-D foam-paper from K&Co been in my stash for years bought from QVC in the Dawn Bibby era. Stamped sentiment from Pink Frog.

Ha ha, I probably have that paper. I bought a lot of K & Co papers back when Dawn was presenting.
ReplyDeleteI love this design, what a great card and the image is terrific - the flowers remind me of a funky standard lamp, I can just imagine bending the metal stems into differnt positions. Great colouring as always my friend.

Pretty card, I have been wanting to try the spotlight technique. So neat. I had made a card like this back in November and didn't know what to call it. I see you called it a split card design. If I make another I will call it that. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI've just seen your comment Carol, thank you. Yes, I reckon that they're trying to get rid of us bloggers ;) A lovely card and I like the design of it. I must try something different with my card making as I tend to stick to squares or rectangles, so I maybe need to get out of my comfort zone. Take care x
