Morning and the last Saturday of the month means its's a Smash Your Stash journal day with Vicki at Stamped Smiles hope you will pop over and check out her journal page.
The theme this month is recycled items/thrifted items to upcycle/pieces of magazine /gift wrap.
I used my Pink Pink journal and found a page that was used for mop ups.I added a piece of coruggated card coloured with aqau marker, the roses are from a piece of gift wrap and the Japanese newspaper was from errrrr oops no idea had it for years lol hope it's the right way up!
I found an oddment of lace and made a flower -added a recycled Bee from a birthday card and glued them both onto a dried tea bag.The TH die-cut leaf was a left over and I found a feather on the floor from the Lovebird so slipped that in too,the little tag was Graphic 45 and cut a piece from an old dictionary page.

This is such a pretty journal page Carol and you have crammed so much stuff into. I have been trying to think what part was my favourite, it's so hard to make up my mind. The bee really pops right off the page and I adore bumble bees but I think it has to be the Japanese newspaper, there is just something about it. Great project.
