Morning well after-noon by time I finished editing and taking the dog for a walk lol -the card today I made for Grandaughters 15th birthday which was the 1st May and as she has her first boyfriend and is into runestones and manifestations and the Universe on full moons-don't even ask lol-I thought one of the papers from my new paper pad Bittersweet Heights was just perfect---the Runestones were courtesy of Google. The May strip and the stamps were cut from remnants of Graphic 45 papers .
UPDATE ON JOHN---2nd Detached retina op failed and are trying the op again using oil this time instead of a gas bubble-then another op to remove the oil---fingers crossed I never have this happen!!!

A lovely themed card for your grand-daughter. Sorry to hear that John's op was unsuccessful, hopefully they can fix this for him.
ReplyDeleteLorraine
WOW! Carol what an awesome card with her interests on it. We all go through phases with "interesting" things don't we, all part of growing up :) She will, I'm sure, be thrilled with her card.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about John's op and sincerely hope that the next one will be successful, how worrying for you both.

Wonderful card, love the monotone and little details in the background. Your John's experience is mirroring that of my mother in law. She had 2 failed op with the gas then a third with the oil. Unfortunately none worked so she is now stuck with virtually no vision in that eye, it has been a real trial for her at 87. I hope it is third time lucky for John xx
ReplyDeletePoor John! I hope the op works this time Carol.
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter will love that beautiful card!
I love this card, I am very into this sort of thing myself. 😊
ReplyDeleteSending best wishes to both you and John. Fingers cross this op is a success.
