Hooray figured out how to get my photos uploaded-go me lol-but no idea how to get the digi images and pics I lost back -lost my watermark too! Anyway finally here is my journal page for the Smash Your Stash monthly journal page with Vicki so hope you will go over and check out her brilliant journal page too.
The theme was --buttons/sequins/gems--
now I may be alone in admitting this ---but---I have no sequins lol so buttons and gems it was.
The background was a mix of watercolour background and watercoloured flowers/a craft mag freebie scripy stamp and a sentiment from I think a Chocolate Baroque set bought off a FB sale page, buttons and gems are from stash.

ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to say thank you for the very kind comments you've left on my blog, I'm offering my apologies for being bad / late at replying - life is rather busy at the minute, but I'm hoping to be back to regular blogging soon - and then you'll find it hard to stop me from waffling on all the time!!
Best wishes, Sarah

Gorgeous page Carol, love the blue on the beautiful flowers and water colouring, I love the effect...I finally have all my phone pictures transferred to my PC which I'm so proud of the fact that I did it instead of putting it all in too hard basket..

ReplyDeletea beautiful page and those richly colored flowers look gorgeous! Want some sequins? I hate the danged things, they stick to everything! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are able to post again, love that page, such lovely colours. Sorry to hear you have lost files. When you get a new computer make sure you get an external drive and back your files up regularly so when the computer dies, as they always do eventually, you haven't lost everything. You can set them to do it automatically so you don't have to remember. Hope you find you can get them back OK xx
ReplyDeleteOh... well, good news and progress so far with the computer! Hopefully you'll be able to get everything back. Pretty watercolor piece here. A lovely softness to it.

I'm so glad you got things up and running. I would have hated to miss seeing this beautiful journal page. I back up my computer fairly regularly, but recently purchased a drive with tons of storage. I'm going to move my digis there, I would be so crushed if they were lost. Hope somehow your's can be recovered.
ReplyDeleteCarol this is stunning. those flowers are gorgeous, what a beautiful blue. Nice work.

Lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol! Thanks so much for your persistence. I've been having the same problem and It is such a bite when you are commenting for DT purposes. Interestingly, when I looked the page where you manage your blog, under comments, all of your comments show up. Not sure what to do about that, can't see where any of the setting have been changed...so frustrating! But thanks so much, you'll never know how much your visits mean to me<3
ReplyDeleteWell, Iʻm not sure why, but your comments were in spam...didnʻt even realize they had spam and not spam comments. Hopefully now that I have published the non-spam comments, will publish. Thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteLovely page and so happy you are able to use your son's computer. And I swimming in sequins over here, haha. Hoping you will soon be able to get a new machine and have your files back like you like. xxo
ReplyDeleteGreat creation, well done! Thanks for joining us at Daisy Chain Challenges.

ReplyDeleteThis is simply gorgeous Carol and would make such beautiful gifts too. I've lost so many pictures of my drives, its frustrating isn't it Michelle x
ReplyDeleteThis page is beautiful. Love the water color background with the pretty flowers and the buttons and gems.
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought this notebook cover was commercially produced, such a pretty layout. Lovely colouring and your background is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou have got me thinking and I really am not sure whether I have any sequins - and if I do, I have no idea where to find them (somewhere I have a roll of shiny stuff full of holes where the sequins have been punched out). I do have hundreds of buttons though!
Dionne xx
