Smash Your Stash

 Morning and as it's the last Saturday of the month it's time for the Smash Your Stash challenge with Vicki who makes brilliant journal pages so hope you will check her post too.

The challenge this month was papers/kit/collection(decorative papers or kits) well I don't have any kits but plenty of strips of papers so actually got rid of quite a few lol and using my Pink Pig journal.

The background was distress inked and Shattering stamp from AALL&Create,different strips added and the little square with the circle was cut off the strip I used,the archway stamped image was an ATC I found which I had never used so added that and found a "This is the way to go" sentiment on some Graphic 45 oddments,the same with the sentiment on the bottom too.

Son Matthew and partner Rosie were going to get Married at Robin Hoods Bay next year-but after been having tests a couple of years ago and finding out she couldn't have children then a couple of years covid-losing their studio and flat decided to make it later this year and just family at Beverley register office-rang for details and was given a short date for 30th next month so panic stations here at the moment.

Rosie and her Mum went shopping Thursday and got the most beautiful wedding dress and her shoes so one thing sorted!

Bees!!!

 Morning and I have made a double tag bookfold card using the tutorial from HERE for my GDT spot at Allsorts where the challenge is Butterflies and Bugs.

The papers were from Paper Boutique,tags were a free download,the Bee images inside were recycled images from a calendar and anothe birthday card,hexagon shapes were from packaging,Bee stamps from Chocolate Baroque onto smooshed card and wooden Bee bought from FB.

16 Years of Being Awesome

 I made this card for a neighbours 16yrs old son -sentiment image was courtesy of Google,layered onto a smooshed background leftover-stamped borders were Shattering stamp from AALL&Create and done!

Johns new eye op is scheduled for 1st September as consultant on annual leave in August!

Gabriella and Eco Papers

 Morning and we have a new ATG challenge at TTCRD -as we are sponsored by JMC Designs I chose the image Gabriella coloured with promarkers,dies from Spellbinders and used another of my

 Eco print/boiled papers for the background-never did make any more of these!

Well after two long years covid finally got me and have spent three long hot days laid on the bed with all the windows open and trying to keep cool-now finally up and about-fingers crossed!

Butterflies and Flowers

 Morning and I made another double tag book fold card using this tutorial.

P.papers from Paper Boutique and I fussy cut some flowers from the papers for the front corners.Butterfly Film strip stamp from Chocolate Baroque,pics inside were from the papers and tags were oddments found in stash.

 

Johns eye op got cancelled as son tested positive for covid two days before!!!

Alice in Wonderland

 Morning and my card today is for a GDT spot at StarStampz and the challenge is ATG/LOve.

I chose the image Alice in Wonderland Chibi,coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents.With a nod to the option I love Alice in Wonderland and love the Upright Z fold card,die-cuts are Spellbinders and Memory Box,border punch is from Tonic, the reduced tag/metal brad and playing cards down the side are all from my stash and the P.paper is from The Wrinkles CD.

Grandsons First Holy Communion

 It was our Grandsons first Holy Communion a couple of weeks ago and as we are not religious was unsure what to expect and had to google ideas for cards. I was gifted some  Cross rubber stamps so not sure whose they are.I also lost my pics when computer died so had to rely on Son sending me them.

I silver embossed the Cross and layered up with dies from The Works,Memory Box and Spellbinders,a couple of lines made on scoring board,dewdrops and peel off corners from stash.

The card I made for daughter Helen to give I embossed the Cross in gold layered with Crafters Companion and Spellbinders dies and a strip of gold paper from stash and added some gems I won at Creative Creases.

 

 

 

 

He was also 9yrs the following week so made him a card using a pic taken at his Communion. P,papers from The Works sentiment was computer generated from Dafont.

 

 

UPDATE ON JOHNS EYE---Went for a check up on Thursday and retina has started to detach again!!! Was home half an hour and hospital rang -they had a cancellation on Monday 8am so having another op to try and save his eye.

CAS at Pearly Sparkles

 Morning and oh my word JULY can you believe!!!We have a new CAS challenge at Pearly Sparkles.

The flower and Bee dies are from Hero Arts(coloured with promarkers),the square die from The Works and Memory Box-background stencil was from Artisan Designs using Oxide Inks.

 

Would just like to add bloggers are saying about the lack of comments,but have you checked your spam folder I have a few every day that go straight into spam instead of posting-so worth checking.
