Morning and as it's the last Saturday of the month-time for the Smash Your Stash journal challenge with VICKI. Hope you will check out her blog as she makes brilliant journal pages.
The Prompt this month was Wooden Pieces/chipboard, I fished out a wooden heart and letters which I covered with distress ink and used I think a Stencil Girl stencil/Cosmic shimmer on the heart and my Pink Pig journal cover then added some little wooden Bees and a strip of hessian. The stamped Bee is from Chocolate Baroque and I stamped once on the heart then twice onto cardstock to layer up.

Good fishing! :D The stencil on the heart looks great with the bee and love the different wooden letters!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute journal, Carol, with those sweet little lady bugs. I haven't seen any yellow lady bugs here for aeons! We only have the orange and bright red varieties. I wonder what happened to the yellow ones? Or perhaps different bugs are needed for different purposes in nature. I also like the significance of the bee inside the heart of your portrayal of "sunshine and nature". So pretty!

Hi Carol- this fabulous journal page makes me want to reach for my sadly neglected journal too! There's something so satisfying about creating just for yourself and just going where your creativity takes you. Love the texture and colours and the cute little bees. Hope you have a good weekend
