Mixed Crafts

Morning and what a morning to wake up to-almost 3inches of snow and still snowing!
Just a mixed craft post today -the first crochet blankie is the 13th one I have made for Hollie since she was born-she is now 16yrs and still has them all on her bed. She picked the colours and must admit this is my favourite of them all -my fave colour being green-it measures 4ft x4ft and was definitely a labour of love.
The second one I made a few months ago and then a couple of graphite drawings from Helen.

  5. Hope the snow doesn't hang around too long Carol, think it's meant to be getting milder- not a fan of snow as early as November (well at any time really!)
Your crocheted blankets are beautiful- the green is my favourite too. Your daughter is very talented, such wonderful drawings.

  18. Oh, your beautiful blankets! I love that Hollie keeps all 13 on her bed. My mom made oodles of these as lap blankets for nursing home patients. Helen's artwork has always blown me away. I was stunned the first time you showed it and I'm still stunned. You are a very talented family!

  19. The crochet blanket in green is such a standout piece, and it is touching that Hollie has kept all thirteen together over the years. The size and detail make it feel like a true labor of love. Helen’s graphite drawings add a striking contrast to the softness of the blankets, showing the breadth of creativity in your family.
