Morning I am back with three posts today-the first one is for a GDT spot at
Dream Factory and the challenges are always based on films-This month it's Cleaner so the challenge is CAS.
I used a very very neglected stamp set from Artistic Stamper and I glued an actual stamp over where the stamp image is. The script borders are a craft mag freebie from years ago, there is a split it it but stuck down carefully onto a stamping block stamps perfectly-it looked unfinished so I drew round the edges with a ruler and fine liner pen.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful monochrome card! I love the various sentiments and the pens placed between the two blocks. The idea of positioning the stamp in the center is fantastic, and I really like the design of the edges, too. It makes the card perfect.

Your CAS design feels crisp and artistic with the monochrome stamping creating such a striking focal point, and the real postage stamp adds a clever pop of color while the hand‑drawn border pulls everything together with a polished finished touch.

I often draw around the edge of a matt layer or stamp if I feel a simple card needs just that little 'something' extra as well, I feel it finishes the design off perfectly.
