Just to let you all know I had quite a dramatic fall over the back step and crashed full onto the door jomb with my side, have quite a spectacular bruise and paramedics -after a 4 hour wait for ambulance! think I may have cracked a couple of ribs but as hospital inundated -it was a case of nearest walk -in which was a no no the state I was in - so its a case of bed rest and painkillers-can only sit for a short while to have something to eat then I have to go back to bed for comfort-so will catch up with you all when able.
Thank you for dropping by.
Carol x x x
Good luck with your recovery

Oh, Carol, I'm so sorry to hear about this! I've never had a cracked rib, but from what I understand it's very painful, even just when you breathe which, of course, you can't avoid. The 4 hr wait sounds appalling! I hope you heal well and soon!

ReplyDeleteOh no Carol that's sounds pretty sore!! Nothing much you can do other than rest and I hope you heal quickly. I fell myself a few weeks ago. Cut myself to ribbons down the bumpy wall and swear I cracked my knee cap in two when I went down! So easy to do when you think you're a teenager locked in an old lady's body lol.
ReplyDeleteHope the pain has eased and you're feeling a little better Carol xx
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your fall, my friend. Take it easy and get plenty of rest.
ReplyDeleteHope you are improving Carol. Sending more hugs. xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, Carol! I'm so sorry for your misfortune. It looks as if you are recovering and back at it, but do take it slowly my dear.🌺
ReplyDeleteOuch, mind you bed rest probably best as i went sent to A&E in August and had a 16hr wait before seeing the Dr in a roasting hot room surrounded by alot of over hot people, those with minor breaks and injuries were waiting even longer than that, one old chap who had had a nasty fall and broken his nose had been waiting 8hrs before i got there, it was horrendous. Trouble is most of us sent by GPs who aren't doing much now and they have closed all our minor injury units so we all end up at A&E.
ReplyDeleteSending lots of positive healing vibes, hope the ribs are on the mend now, i know from experience they can be uncomfortable. xxx
O my sorry to hear about this and hope you are on the mend now. Sending you healing hugs and hope you are on the road to recovery. Take care lovely lady Michelle xx
