Another Heart

I had a play with another chipboard heart,this time I gave it a coat of gesso the a coat of acrylic, a layer of my new product weathered wood crackle medium then almost covered it up lol.I added lace round the edge,small pearls round the inside,found a small postcard image(wish I had distressed edges now)a large advert image which I just tore the the edges of the couple,added some fibres,a small wooden heart(and pearls and fibres)won from Live and Love Crafts,then decided to add a flower and found one which looked like an old dried rose-perfect a quick spray of Ancient Copper mica and a flick of watered down white acrylic.

Time to play

Morning and my project today is just because I had time to play lol I had some small coated chipboard hearts which I covered in gesso then Distress ink,stamped and embossed a floral image,stamped script then embossed the edges,the hearts are die-cut on one and wooden heart on the other,added pearls and embossed the edges,the chains and keys are recycled off Avon perfume bottles which my daughter got delivered the morning I was making these lol and the bottle clips serve as a hanger on the back-perfect result lol.Everything except keys are from stash.

Fruit tea bag box

Morning and first of all welcome to my new follower Jade.I found instructions I had cut out of a craft mag absolute ages ago and though I would have a try and decided to make it for my daughter for her fruit tea bags.She is into Buddas so found some papers on Google,cardstock from Papermill Direct,and distress inked all the edges,I added some small bamboo beads I have had for yonks!, a small piece of hessian,I stamped and gold embossed the floral stamp on the back and looking should have probably stamped and embossed a flourish round the lid edge too,the flower on the top was made by stamping the poinsettia stamp from Penny Black three times and layered it up with the same small bamboo beads in the centre was pretty pleased how it turned out and she loves it.First time used for both stamps.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year to you all and here is my second card today which is for the new challenge at Simply Papercrafts which is an inspirational non sponsored one.I made this card for my daughters ex-husband to give to his Dad actually not an ex as they are not divorced and more friendly now than when they were together-no more pretence I suppose-anyway off topic- my image is "Vintage Spitfire" from Delicious Doodles coloured with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,sentiment was computer generated in Dafont,all the backing was recycles packaging from a die-cast plane.
