Mels Crow

Morning and we have a new mixed media challenge today at A Inky Mess -we are sponsored by Sheepski Designs and I used the image "Mels Crow" coloured with promarkers, not impressed with colouring as all my promarkers are running out!!!I covered a large jigsaw piece(saved from when grandaughters were little) with Decoart media acrylic paint with black on small lid and card edge, then faux stitch round edges, sentiment computer generated in Dafont. My son and his partner are moving back here to save money for a deposit-so will have grandchildren more -sooo losing craft room all crammed into bedroom at moment and eldest son seriously ill at moment I was there last night-so please bear with me if I am slow commenting on you blogs, but I really appreciate your comments and will be round when I have a few mins spare.

  7. What a fun project, Carol! I've never seen this shape before, and your sentiment fits across it perfectly! OH DEAR! I'm sorry to hear about your son being so ill, Carol - absolutely do not be concerned about blog visiting. I hope he is soon feeling better. It's so nice of you to give up your crafting area to help your children out. I hope they can soon save up their deposit for a lovely home. hugs, de

  18. Sorry to hear one son is ill, and hope he soon will mend. But happy you're regaining your little ones real soon. This is just so unique and I would not have had the 1st clue as to how to use this crow! Excellent project with the puzzle piece, and love the treatment you've applied on the piece to make a backdrop for this crow! Take care. TFS & Hugs(can you refill promarkers as with copics?)

  21. I do not know where you get all of your ideas Carol, this one is inspired and looks amazing.

I have exactly the same problem with my Promarkers and I am debating whether to replace them or at at along last get out my Copics and start using them. I bet we bought our Promarkers around the same time.
